Accessibility is an ongoing product responsibility across the public website, member experience, family portal, and staff tools.
Still Kicking is committed to making its website and application usable by older adults, people with disabilities, family members, and staff using a range of devices and assistive technologies.
Accessibility goal
Still Kicking aims to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonably applicable to the public website and application.
Features currently supported
- Keyboard navigation, visible focus, and focus restoration after dialogs
- Semantic headings, labels, concise instructions, and purposeful status announcements
- Readable contrast and responsive text
- Browser zoom and narrow-screen reflow
- Touch-friendly controls and a larger-text preference
- Reduced-motion preferences
- Review steps before consequential submissions such as announcements and safety check-ins
- Nonmodal announcements that do not interrupt the current task or take keyboard focus
- Text alternatives or labels for functional icons
- Printable exercise options for members who prefer paper
Known limitations
Accessibility is ongoing. Third-party services, uncommon browser combinations, user-entered content, PDFs, media, or newly added features may reveal barriers that were not identified during testing.
Feedback and assistance
Describe the page, task, device, browser, and assistive technology involved. Still Kicking will review the issue and provide an alternate way to receive information when reasonably possible.
